I am so enamored with this tree…it’s the tree I have always wanted. We didn’t use every ornament we own but I didn’t really feel badly about that. The best thing is that the ornaments sort of float and hang free and we can see them all from every angle. I love being able to do that. And…if we wanted to pick up the entire tree and move it to another room…we could…very easily! We have never had a tree like this one ever…And the ornaments…Den and I love remembering where each one came from…some of the most precious ones when he was in Germany on a business trip and accidentally found a winter market…and carefully brought them home to me!
And the pickle? It’s supposed to bring an extra present from Santa to the person who hangs it on the tree. I found my pickle at Pier 1!
Finishing this very soon…it was much fun!
Hugs,
Patty
I love your tree too. I have never had one like that- but it looks like the tree my brother in Colorado and his family get each year. It is nice that you can really see and enjoy each ornament. We don’t put all our ornaments up each year and it is nice to stop and think about the special memories associated with each ornament. 🙂

I do love that tree…and the ornaments are wonderfully unique. I’ll bet your tree all lit up is especially awesome from the outside, looking in.
Thanks for sharing.

I love your tree too! I love looking at ornaments. We look at ours and remember who they came from and the significance as well. I noticed a Christopher Radko on there. We have that exact same carrot ornament.

That is so funny! We have twin carrots! Now you need to get a pickle or two!

What a beautiful tree. I love the ornaments. I have a pickle ornament too, but I’ve always heard that the first person who finds it gets an extra present.

Yes! That’s what I have heard, too!

I love your tree and noticed the pickle right away! We hide one in our tree each year.
