It’s All About The Books…

It’s been so wet and rainy and fiercely windy here…and dark and dreary and warm…it’s been in the 60’s!  At 8:30 last night we were whipping flannel sheets off of the bed and zipping on cool cotton ones!  I love the Olympics!  It’s the perfect background for reading in bed.  If you miss something it’s always replayed.  Lucy and Roxie watch the ice skaters.  Lucy seems to love ice dancing while Roxie prefers men’s figure skating…and she especially loves Nathan Chen.  Lively skaters catch their attention!

    My that was a weather warm up, but I guess it may slip back again! You have acquired some interesting sounding books so that means happy reading. I tend to not have a special time of day for reading, I usually sit when I feel drawn to it!!

      I guess I sort of read all of the time but especially if I wake up in the middle of the night. Thank God we have a big bed because it has to hold two kitties, my glasses, and my Kindle…I need to be able to grab my Kindle at all times!

    The girls love ice skating…you are too funny…but I love it too!! I have yet to try Edelweiss. I must go there and look around. You told me about it ages ago!

    PS your site uses one of those comment boxes which eats up comments if one puts a www address in it instead of https, which means one’s comments might disappear sometimes 🙂 Mine did this morning.

    I’ll have to check out those skaters. When I think of ice skating I think of Kristi Yamaguchi, Midori Ito, and Michelle Kwan. I feel it’s cozier at night to read, especially in bed.
