It Can’t Possibly Be Raining…Again!

And yet it is…raining.  And seriously?  It will not go away and it’s supposed to turn icy and then turn to snow…up to 6 inches.  Den zipped out today for the few things we thought we might need…I want to make one or two of these over the weekend…

Chicken Enchilada Soup from…Skinnytaste

Creamy Baked Spaghetti from…Simply Delicious

Cheesy  Ravioli Pasta Bake from…the Kitchn

Plus I am just kind of hungry for homemade chicken noodle soup…I always use Ina Garten’s recipe…and…this creamy orzo dish…I love orzo!  And this Turkey Sloppy Joe dish from Emily Bites…these all look good to me!  I must be hungry!

Just because I am still reading The Hazel Wood and someone mentioned to me that black and gold book covers are really hot this year…I found even more!  Well…one is sort of blue but it still fits the pattern…

I just started this one and so far it’s really good…

I think all of us here have the winter doldrums…kitties are napping…Den is napping after taking Lucy for fluids this morning, bringing her home, cleaning, racing out for a few groceries, and bringing home lunch!  I do not yet move as fast as he does…I worked out and dusted while he did all of this…he decided to do towel and sheet laundry, too…I can’t stop him!  Oh my!  He says he is going to work out later, too!

I hope you have something fun to do this weekend?  I will see you on Monday!

Ooh, those soups all look so delicious! I am a big fan of soup, no matter the season.

After Anna is on Pippa, waiting until we get closer to the release date, but I’m eagerly anticipating it. I’m a Lisa Scottoline fan, no matter which form her work takes. I even love her memoirs.

Sorry your weather is so unpleasant. We could use some of that rain, but except for the drought factor, I could do without it.

    Enjoy your weekend!

I can’t get over all the rain we have been having. Almost 50 yesterday and tonight we are supposed to get up to 7 inches of snow. Crazy weather!

Those soups look so good. I have been making soup or stew once a week since 2018 started. Tasty and cozy!

Those covers definitely show a similar theme!
