A Weary Wednesday!

Life…

I truly don’t know where this day went…the moment I sat down this afternoon I fell asleep.  I think I don’t have stamina!  I need to push myself more!  Sigh!

Books…

Reading and loving this book.  I am at the part where everyone is a suspect.  Of course I want the most annoying friend to be the murderer.  Oh…basically the story is about friends who went to France.  They met a French girl there and she ends up dead…but she doesn’t get discovered for ten years…when she is simply old bones in a well.  There is a persistent French detective who just won’t let this crime alone.  The English friends are all ensconced in their careers…living their lives…when this hits them!

Melting Potatoes?

I found these on smitten kitchen’s blog…I can’t wait to try them…because they roast in a bit of stock they are rumored to be all melty  in the middle!

My brain is too mushy to write more…I had a good day but an intense one.

I did love The French Girl…and I had my wishes about who should be the perp, too.

    Those potatoes look very yummy.

I just got up from a nap. I seem to take one every day now. Probably because I get up early and stay up late. LOL.

    Take care.

that is how I roast my potatoes too 🙂 Just a bit of oil on the bottom and then I pour half a cup of hot water mixed with a spoonful of vegeta (it is our national seasoning which you can find often in your shops over there, pretty much salt mixed with dried carrots, onions and parsley). It is done quicker and it is softer

I thought about you yesterday and even though you sound exhausted I’m glad to hear it was a good day! Let us know how the potatoes are when you try the recipe. Sounds yummy.
