I love books so much but I am starting to not love the way I read them. I am tired of reviews and I am tired of not reading books in the random order that I love. But…on the other hand…I am not really all that tired of what I just said I feel tired of! Can I call that a dilemma? I have to think about this and I have to figure out how to come up with the perfect solution. I think I have a solution but I need to think about it more…I think! I just don’t like feeling like reading is work. Plus…I want too many books…I can’t possibly read them all…can I?
I finished these so far this week…and loved them both.
Now I am working on these…I have looked inside each one and read some of each one but right now I am reading more of the sisters hemingway…
There are way too many delightful books out there that must be read! And that’s another dilemma!
Hugs,
Patty
Sometimes I do get tired of scheduling my reading based on release dates, etc. I do like getting review books, though, so the deadlines are the price of getting the books.
I have a lot of purchased books I haven’t yet read, and I have to somehow work them into the review ARC queue.
I loved The Dream Daughter, and now I’m curious about The Sisters Hemingway.

I agree with all your bookish dilemmas. I don’t pay much attention to schedules and deadlines anymore. I’m reading a book I’ve had for a long time right now.

I really think that’s what I am going to do. I like it so much better.

Jennifer…that book was soooo good. And it is hard to choose. I think I am going to just read with abandon for awhile!

Hmm was just vacuuming this morning and thinking the same. I am reading less than I once read can you believe, but I want to read less and just savour what I read. Will have to think about this dilemma too!

Those are my thoughts exactly. I love to read just to read!

Yes, there are too many books! My reading slowed this year because of life. It’s still my escape but I’m going to do far fewer deadline review books in 2019 – maybe none.
I really enjoyed The Dream Daughter – review will post on Oct. 1

A lot of books but you seem to get through so many of them. I like to have a few going at a time but lately I’ve only had two going at a time. And you know what? That’s okay. I am really enjoying my books this year. Not rushing to get stuff read. Just reading the way I want to.

Ha ha I can relate! There are times when I just finish a book and move on- reviewing doesn’t feel like something I want to do at that moment! I feel llike changing things up or not stressing myself too much works wonders.
And yes- way too many books. 🙂

Totally agree…that’s why I love it when I read a library book…I do not review them!

I hate buying just published Kindle books…sometimes they are more than the hardback ones!
