It’s Looking A Lot Like Christmas…

Today I have promised myself that I will look in the Christmas bins one more time.  I feel as though important holiday “stuff” is missing.  I can’t find my red Christmassy coat.  It’s that sort of wool knitted fabric and it has a truck with a Christmas tree sewn on the front.  It sounds funny but I love that coat.  It’s more like a jacket.  Den bought it for me in Aspen and I can’t find it!  It’s not in the Christmas bins but it’s in the clothes (hopefully) bins and I really want it.  Really!   Truly!

Finished these over the week end…The Perfect Liar was intense…Dead As A Door Knocker was fun.

I am reading The Iron Flower but I am not that into it…yet.  So I might start one of these.  I am having the hardest time picking a next book.  I just want something absorbing that will help me relax when I am not doing holiday stuff.  I keep bouncing back and forth among these books and tons more!  I hate starting and stopping a book so my choice has to be the right one!  Pressure!  Book pressure!

A few of my new books…yum!  As Mary Berry from the Great British Bake Off would say…simply scrummy!  These lovelies are from Edelweiss and NetGalley.

So…I am off to examine bins…Den is supposed to be finding my red coat…and that’s my day!

I LOVED The Perfect Liar, and it grabbed me from the beginning.

I don’t know why I haven’t read The Affliction yet, as I love the author. Probably the “boarding school” aspects. LOL.

Love the twinkly look of your house from the outside.

I hope you find the coat. I really hate not being able to find things. Sigh.

Den just found it and two more I forgot about…festive holiday coats. He put the away in the Christmas bins…it’s so funny that you don’t like boarding school books! I can’t get enough of them!

Yay, I’m so glad you found your red coat!

I decorated while Carl was out of town and couldn’t reach a few boxes and decided to do without them this year and, of course, I really miss all the things that are in them. Oh well – I’ll enjoy them even more next year.

Your home looks beautiful! I need to try a nighttime pic with my new phone. The old one just couldn’t do it. You really need to post a pic of your red coat!
I’m curious about The City of Second Chances. You always highlight cover I’ve never seen before.

I usually just decorate the fireplace mantle and whatever of the piano since they’re in my line of view. My mum gave us more ornaments but the girls were too lazy to put them on after trimming our tree with what we’ve had originally.
