It’s Hair Day!

It’s Hair Day and that means our usual one hour one minute trek to Skippack, PA!  But…it also means a stop…after we are all beautified…to Basta Pasta!  We have become quite attached to their Caesar Salad, Garlic Knots and Linguini With Meat Sauce!  Yum!

What I am reading…

Well…I didn’t want to but I started that Deborah Crombie book and it’s so good but then Laurel-Rain mentioned the new Heather Gudenkauf book which I had so I started that and now I am really into it.  Three twelve year old girls are supposed to be spending the night together but one is found badly injured on old abandoned railroad tracks. Right now no one is talking!  It’s really good!  So I am reading both!  Sort of…

So…that’s my Wednesday…the dormer pounding is back on today but now it’s mostly stapling…kind of loud stapling…Sigh!

Have a great day!

Patty

Oh, your day ahead looks so tempting! The hair, the food…and I smile at how precisely your travels are measured: 1 hour and 1 minute. LOL.

I am eager to read Before She Was Found.

    Have a wonderful day.

I figured out that I have to use my Google Chrome browser to make comments on Blogger sites…or my iPhone. It is annoying!!

I love a good Ceasar. I usually tell them to add about 50 times more shaved parm than what is in the photo you shared. I mean, I can’t have the croutons so I gotta have cheese.

Today, I have an Indian veggie meal. It’s not takeout but it’s one of the better ones form TJ’s and I have it with brown rice. I was doing so well losing weight but then gained a couple of pounds back so paying attention again.

Tonight I am attending a new discussion group which is actually an off shoot of my old book club. It’s called Conversations and we discuss books, movies and TV so each person can pick a month to do what they want. I picked July and we will read that I’ll Be Gone in the Dark book about the serial killer that made headlines recently when he as caught.

Oooh..that group sounds good! I just read a list of TJ’s top frozen dinners…number one was Hatch Chili MAC and Cheese which you can’t have! There is a Chana Masala dinner, too which i think you can have? And of course #2 was the Cauliflower Gnocchi! I know what you mean about a good Caesar salad…without croutons you need more cheese!

You would love Basta Pasta’s menu…we can never ever ever away from the Linguini With Bolognese Sauce…it’s our weakness. Plus at the salon they told us the homemade pasta place is even better than Basta Pasta but I just love the name. My hair is now a short messy bob but my stylist says it’s very curly!
