Even though we saw sun today…
It’s cold! This is just not right! We put our summer bedspread on our bed but Den had to get out an extra warm fuzzy blanket last night and the night before. The kitties are not leaving their/my cozy heated chair! I want to join them.
In another vein…
I am just a bit worried that I am going to run out of British mysteries! I have watched most of Miss Marple, Poirot, Lynley And Havers and now I am into Endeavor. These are all just so good. I love Vera, too, but so does Den so we have to watch those together! Den absolutely loves Bosch…which is not British at all…but rather takes place in LA and is not as subtle as my British ones. When I watch an intense one with Den I read…it works for both of us. We are so different and yet so weirdly alike in some ways.
Books…
Reading and totally loving this book…big Irish family dealing with sister strife and a father with Alzheimer’s…it’s soooooo good. Have not been able to stop reading it…
I hope to finish it today and then start this one…
Dinner…

Lovely books! I want to read The Night Before.
I watched Bosch with my son Craig and his wife Gabi when they were here four years ago. Has it been that long? Wow.
We loved it. But it’s not the same without them.

You and Dan should watch The Durrells, it is such a delightfully cosy yet funny and crazy old school series, just ended with four season and series finale this Sunday. Keeley Hawes is brilliant in it.

I’ve enjoyed The Durrels in Corfu (of?) on PBS the past couple of years. I can’t remember if it’s a Fall or Winter series. Regardless, it’s a lot of fun. Hope you find it somewhere.

Other British shows I’d suggest are Line of Duty, Our Girl, Whitechapel, and The Coroner 🙂 Another Den might like, but I’m not sure you will, is Strikeback.
