Oh my I am almost afraid to mention this but I have not been as nauseous for the last two days. My oncologist said that things should taper off in the third month and I am in the midst of the third month. So I pray that’s what’s happening. Plus I can look at certain foods again without wailing. I call that progress.
Den and I are not doing much lately…when I can eat we get carry out foods from all over town. It’s been fun! Just simple things that are good for both of us. Chicken soup and Mai Fung Rice noodles from our friendly Chinese food store. Last Friday we had homemade pasta from Hearth Kitchen, we split this incredibly simple Sammie from Talulah’s Table…good hearty bread and a roast beef filling that tasted so good to my stomach. I crave hard boiled eggs lately. So I eat one a day. We play with the girls, try to keep Lucy safe and comfy…we don’t think she can see well any more…that’s the make up of our days. But seriously? I am ok with that.
Reading this…Flavia is always clever, funny, atrocious and always has to much to say but the books are wonderful!
Other possible books for this week end?
So that’s my Friday and my week end. Thinking of all of you often!
Hugs,
Patty
Delighted to hear that the nausea has lessened.
The Flavia series has been on my TBR list forever, I haven’t seen the other two books before.
Have a great weekend

So glad you’re feeling better! The Flavia series is great isn’t it? I’m so behind on it though…must catch-up. P.S. You must be a PA girl ’cause we do love a good sammie!

So happy to hear the nausea is lessening.
I had to look up Separation Anxiety and can’t wait to hear what you think. It sounds funny.

Oh it must be so good to have a lessening of the nausea and that food sounds so yummy. The books are unfamiliar to me but the one that makes you laugh and is clever has to be a great read.

Of course I am reading this late but I do hope the lack of nauseousness continues. I know how much of a foodie you are and not craving anything must be so foreign to you.
