Finished this…liked it…summery…light…fun…
and this…OMG…loved this book…loved the whole Mad Men era sort of clothes, background, drinks thing going on…I had no clue that I would be drawn into this book the way I was!
Reading this…about halfway through…beautiful writing, scary premise, coming of age…what would happen if we went off of clock time and the sun stayed out longer and longer every day…
Bought this summer bag when my sister was here…at a very neat local shop that I did not know about and now that I do…yum…it is handmade out of grasses that give off this really lovely scent…in the car it smells amazing and when I walk by it…it’s sitting on the dining room table…the smell is delightful…it’s supposed to provide you with a wellness feeling!!! And the tag says it’s an aphrodisiac? Yikes!

Even Lucy likes it…but she thinks it’s a new scratcher!

Falling back on your take on GOSSIP and noting it down! And the summer bag and grassy smell…wow, reminds me of an attar (perfume in small bottles) that smells like the earth after the first rains!

Oh, I also loved Gossip…in fact, Beth Gutcheon's books are some of my favorites.
And I'm getting Summer Breeze for my Kindle (preordered) around June 5.
That is a very interesting bag…and when you mention scents, I'm reminded of one of my favorite shops that had a “potpourri” of scents that captivated me whenever I went inside.

I wasn't quite sure what to expect with Gossip, and I ended up loving it, too! Very atmospheric, and quite unexpected. Couldn't stop reading once I'd started!

The bad sounds so fun. I love that it has a nice scent! My husband is allergic to fresh cut grass, I woner if this bag would be a problem- although it sounds likes it smells a little different.
I really want to read Gossip after reading what you had to say. And Summer Breeze is one I will mark for my beach vacation in July. 🙂

The bag doesn't smell like grass…more of a calming incense kind of a smell…and the bag is not big…just the right size for going out to dinner…

Summer Breeze sounds like a perfect vacation read. The bag is cute, although I'm not quite sure if my allergies could stand it.
