Oh My…

It’s hard to figure out what to do with sadness…when I was little…there were really strict ways to mourn and be sad…we had church rules and parental rules. No TV when someone died…but now TV is a distraction…notes from friends on FB and in emails…comforting and instant. Den’s family continues to post photos of his dad that we have never even seen. That is comforting to Den. We live on the East Coast…between Den’s career and mine…and two sets of aging parents…and family all over the country and now world since my brother is in Saudi Arabia…we always felt we never saw anyone enough. And no matter what we do…it really is never enough…

So…today I am sneezing and stuffy…can being cold for so long have given me a cold?
Achoo! Sniffle…sniffle!
Yikes! My mom would run for the Vicks! I am doing that, too! I love me some Vicks Vapo Rub! It’s my addiction!

Reading this…light…fluffy…achoo…distracting!

There are many artists in Den’s family…Den’s brother Steve and his brother’s sons…in particular…this is a painting that Wes did of his grandpa…

Have a happy sneeze free day!

Grieving has changed but it's always been so personal. I still have days when I miss my dad so much I can hardly stand it and it's been over 3 years. I know you know what I'm talking about. That painting is amazing!

I haven't read anything by Robyn Carr…should I? I have seen several of this author's titles on Vine.

When I read something sad, or watch an emotional movie, the tears flow. Otherwise, not so much. I think I need the catalyst of something else to start the torrential pouring of tears.

Great painting! I have some talented artists in my family…the talent skipped right over me! LOL

Feel better soon, Patty…so much stuff has happened to you in the past few months. No easy way to grieve; every person has their own personal way of dealing with grief. Such an amazing painting of Den's Dad…a very talented young man!
