No Football? The Calm Before The Super Bowl?

It’s very quiet here…Den is napping while I watch Bizarre Foods…Andrew just ate giant snail! Oh my!

It is supposed to snow later today, tonight, and into Tuesday so we bought even more provisions…plus…I am making Overnight Cinnamon Rolls because I have this idea that we should wake up tomorrow to warm cinnamon rolls. These are from Pinterest and Sally’s Baking Addiction. But my warm milk and yeast and sugar is not foaming…sigh!

And in lieu of football we may binge watch something…not sure what. Off to stare at my yeasty foamy mixture!

I must be hungry, because those rolls look super-good! I've been binge-watching Gilmore Girls for several hours…the time just gets away from me while watching. And they're always eating on that show!

I love Andrew Zimmern. The one thing he said he will never eat again is Stinkheads. He will eat just about anything, at least once. I hope to be back soon. Healing is slow.

I made some gluten free cinnamon rolls at Christmas and they were like rocks! They looked good and tasted okay, if not crumbly but man, half a roll would be like carrying around a small rock in your stomach all day long.

I love Garth Stein! I didn't realize he had a new book out. Thanks for the update. I'll have to look into this one. I love the cover. It looks so magical and mysterious. He does do a lot of magical realism (I think that's the term!).
