Finished this…I was not sure about it at first but I thought it was really good. A look at what life is like for families of soldiers…key characters are Ellen…scholarly…and Lacey…not so scholarly. It’s filled with family issues as well as the injuries of two soldiers and what happens at some veteran’s hospitals…the behind the scene stuff about care and finances for families. Sad…but hopeful…
