We were so surprised last night because one of our neighbors had fireworks over the pond! We think for Chinese New Year! It’s the year of the Ram! The pond is solidly frozen and the fireworks were really amazing! This has never happened before and we have no idea who arranged it!
And now we are hungry for Chinese food! There is no Chinese food near us so we are having pizza instead!
Just started this…private school, entanglements, teachers, relationships and dysfunction! Oh boy!
Staying in today…making pizza…I love making pizza dough…not sure why…my recipe makes a small amount…it usually works…and is usually manageable.
This is one of the pizzas I am making…I love making different kinds of pizzas…
This one is Spinach, White Bean and Taleggio Cheese…

We were supposed to go tour Sierra Nevada today and had just barely left when I decided to check my email and discovered today's tours have been cancelled because of ice. Now we don't know what to do.

I love spinach on pizza, or in lasaga, too. Looks so good.
I remember how exciting Chinese New Year was when I was living in San Francisco, and we went down to Chinatown to the parades.
