I really want to stop wearing wintery clothes and wintery layers…but it is so chilly outside…really chilly…wet and damp chilly…ugh!

We are doing some light cleaning this morning and then going to the movies to see this…Insurgent.

I know it got mixed/bad/lousy reviews but we are craving the Wedgie Salad at Cinema Suites…so it’s worth seeing the movie to fulfill our craving…it does come with a pretzel bun! So yummy!

Just finished this…OMGD…what a sweet sad delight filled surprise this book was! It’s all about a coal mining town and some of its inhabitants around the time of WWII…and probably just before and after, too. It’s all about heartbreak and rigid religious beliefs and families living in these sad conditions. Company houses and stores and husbands and sons going “under” to work these coal mines. The focus in this book is a woman named Myrthen…a religious fanatic…she wants to be a nun but has serious issues…one of them being her husband! And Alta…unlike Myrthen…lovely and in love…but even she has issues…lots of issues. People seemed to live to be 30 if they were lucky then…but I loved this beautiful and beautifully written book.
