Stuff…

Our shrubs were delicious but they did not look like the ones in the recipe! They were supposed to be clear on top but ours were totally purple all the way through!

This really different book came to me a few days ago…The author went in search of pietons or pedestrian crossing signs…he stood on ladders and photographed them all around Paris! But the really neat thing is that you can match them up on google maps! Very unique!
From the book…
Almost finished with this…it’s just a fun book with maddeningly irritating characters…but I am enjoying it…
This is dinner…Pioneer Woman’s Chicken Taco Salad…
Lucy had her senior kitty 6 month check up today…she is not a happy camper…at all…sigh! Too many people poking her!
We have a concert this week end…Peter Cetera…from Chicago…performing with a symphony orchestra…excited!
So…have a great week end!
I will see you on Monday…with new books, thoughts and adventures!
Patty

Oh wow I can hear PC singing in my head right now!! Have fun!
I'm with Lucy – don't like anyone poking me at the Dr.
I will eat anything the PW makes. I love her first cookbook – best pot roast ever (according to my family). Now I'm hungry. Have a fantastic weekend!

Yum, Chicken Taco Salad! I like some of the Pioneer Woman's recipes except we only eat turkey, chicken & fish, but we can substitute ground turkey for beef in some recipes.

I understand Lucy's feelings; I'm an older woman and I don't like to get poked and prodded, lol! My daughter's cat is 20 now, hard to believe, and she went to the vet a few weeks ago because she has a chronic respiratory issue but keeps fighting it to stay with us. Anyway, for the very first time in her life she growled at all and everyone that day and bit the tech! Female cats are spunky their whole lives 🙂

The taco salad looks good. I had a blue cheese wedge last night but we didn't have bacon and I missed it. We also had turkey burgers which were to die for.

Glad your shrubs were still tasty!

Peter Cetera should be great. I have seen Chicago in concert a few times.

Sounds like you have been reading some interesting books!
