My title could just as easily be FEATURES, FORUM, FACETS, FRENZIES or even FORMATS…can you tell I spent a lot of time on an online thesaurus yesterday?
I am not a fan of changing my blog too much…especially after all the effort that it took to actually get it functional on WP…again…thank you Lisa, Rain, Ti and David. However…it’s still missing a ton of stuff that I want/need on it…but…alas…I am scared of changing anything. But someday…as my confidence grows…I will. I still can’t do links…every single time I try they go to somewhere else. Sigh…
I have been struggling with what I want my blog to say on any Friday…I love Kathy’s Week In Review but that didn’t work for me…I was repeating and grasping for things I already said. Her post was clear and succinct…I love that word…mine was bumbling and floundering…so I am going to try what I am doing today and see how it goes. I love blogging on Monday, Wednesday and Friday but I need it to feel right!
So…here goes!
These are the things that I have thought about, actually done, perhaps have not done, or perhaps tried to talk Den into doing. Perhaps…I like that word. I am still trying to think of a “succinct” name for these…so far nothing is striking my fancy!
This week’s CONTEMPLATIONS. There are ten of them! That will work for now.
I wanted to see Black Panther this week but we didn’t make time…or rather someone in my life said this was not a good movie week.
I wanted to remake these muffins this week! When I made them on Sunday I used the wrong flour…so I wanted a do over with the right flour…they are supposed to taste like the inside of a cinnamon roll. No Yeast Cinnamon Roll Muffins from COOKIES AND CUPS! I didn’t remake them yet and Den loved them even though they were dry! Really…really dry!
I can’t score these books…yet! I want them!
Little Brown & Company as well as Berkeley Books totally annoy me with their rejections…they list the same reasons every time. All of their reasons are clearly on my NetGalley profile…they obviously don’t like me and I don’t like them either…heeheehee. So there! They never ok me for anything!
I love these clothes…they are at a store I love called BONA DRAG. The middle one is a circle dress! OMG! I need this dress!
I am craving this…juice and wine together! This recipe is from Miss in the kitchen.
Den and I want to make these flatbreads. They are from The Kitchn.
I did more BULLET JOURNALING research but I am still not quite ready. These are samples from Popsugar, Etsy and The Kitchn…I did the meal planner one last year to try to keep us organized and because it seemed as though we were tossing too much food away. I liked doing it weekly.
We are in the midst of a weird powerful windy rain/ snow storm. The power has already gone out 4 times. Yikes!
I still want to make this Stuffed Cabbage Soup…from The Kitchn.

Oh, I am sorry about those book rejections, but at least I now know that I’m not the only one! The mention of the profile is annoying, since other publishers are definitely satisfied!
That stuffed cabbage soup is making me super-hungry!

It feels better to be rejected in a group, doesn’t it? It’s funny because what I don’t get on NetGalley the same publisher gives me on Edelweiss! That soup is getting made here tomorrow!

All the best for the journalling once you get going. It will be fun. I was watching an interview with one of the actors on Black Panther and my TV box went ping and went dead and now… no TV via that box!

It’s raining here- but school was cancelled due to the storm. Very windy. Snowing about 30 minutes away!

I heard cabbage is good for you. I want to make a cabbage soup now. So they won’t grant you their books b/c of your profile’s list of stipulations? Forget them. I like those comfy looking overalls.

I get tons of rejections on netgalley but I don’t read a lot of the books I download so I’m not surprised. They should approve every single thing you ask for!!
You can mix juice and beer too. Just sayin’. 😉

Hope the snow wasn’t too bad! And boo on the Netgalley rejections- they obviously don’t know what they’re doing ha ha! 🙂 I’ve started People Like Us (bought it) and so far it’s good, I’m just a few chapters in. Sourdough looks kinda good too, I read his other book and it was pretty good.
