Monday’s ( Mostly ) Books…

I am crashing on my big white bed right now…we walked this morning and I am wiped out!  I have no stamina…none…I can only walk until I see the benches.  Then I sit and rest and start again.  I don’t know if it’s mental or physical.  Probably a little of each.  I need stamina!  Endurance!  Den wants me to get a trainer who can talk me out of my un stamina…is there such a word?  I think I give in too easily.  I need to push myself more but sometimes it’s really hard.  Den is cooking tonight…his famous BBQ’D Beans…yum!  And totally nitrate sulfite free organic Applegate Farms Hot Dogs!

The skillet beans are from this site…

we make them all of the time…they are truly amazing!

Books…

I am still reading these…they are all really good.  I especially love the Laurie R. King one…it’s about Mary Russell and Sherlock Holmes…There are a ton of books in this series but this is the latest one…from NetGalley…

Mary Russell and Sherlock Holmes are back in Laurie R. King’s New York Times bestselling series—“the most sustained feat of imagination in mystery fiction today” (Lee Child).

Plus…guess what…the publisher is giving me a real copy to give away!  All you have to do is comment by Friday…but if you don’t want the book just say…no book, please!

It’s only US, though…sorry!

Some yummy new books…thank you lovely publishers and Edelweiss!

For me summer is a boxy comfy dress!  Look at these!  They are from a neat site called Love, Kuza!  I bought the black one and it’s really comfy!

I am off to read…

Those beans look so good… bet they’d be a big hit here, too. Thanks for letting me know about the ongoing commenting problems on my blog. I changed it back to allow anonymous comments, then moderate the ones more than a few days old. Hope that works for you. I’m so fed up with Blogger. Grrr!

I’d say just a little is good enough for you really, stamina can be built slowly – a trainer might be too bossy! I see When Life Gives You Lululemons is at my library so will get it when I have reading space. Dresses look nice but … a little short for my old legs!

I think you should use a trainer if you trying on your own doesn’t seem to build more stamina. Maybe you can find a free walking program online. I’m sure many former, chemo patients have blogged about such things. Hugs, Patty.
