It’s time! It’s time for candles in the windows, wreaths on the doors and finding the perfect Christmas tree. I would put bells on the kitties, too, but they won’t tolerate them.
We bought new flickering flame candles and Den is walking all through the house putting them in windows.
Last year it was easy to find this sweet little tree…but this year they are a little more hard to find. We had to order one from Terrain.
I am reading this…it’s very good!
Dinner is this pasta bake…you don’t even have to cook the pasta! It’s filled with orzo and spinach and sauce and ricotta and mozzarella cheeses! It’s from The Kitchn.
It is so cold here! I can’t get warm! I will be very busy this weekend talking Den out of getting a new TV at Costco! Darn those Black Friday ads!
See you on Monday!

Your always making me hungry! Thanks for introducing me to The Kitchn! I have 3 Tana French novels yet to be read… I’m thinking that should be one of my goals for next year. I love your little tree😋

It’s cold here too. A lot of people around us are decorated but we aren’t yet. Carl’s going out of town on Sunday and I might start on it then.

LOL about the TV – that is so funny! I have seen that Tana French writes good novels although I have not sampled her – yet. Very yummy looking pasta bake.

I put the outdoor lights up yesterday when it was almost balmy out there – 46° but indoor will wait a week or so. Good luck on the tv front. That Costco display hits us when we walk in the door. It’s hard not to be impressed!
I love the candles in each window look 🙂

My daughter is reading Tana French now, too – The Secret Place. We’ll get a tree tomorrow before they go back to NYC. Next week I’ll take down the fall decorations and start on Christmas. Now you’ve got me craving a pasta bake…

We always have a pasta bake right after Thanksgiving. It’s sort of necessary!

This one was delicious…is there a GF orzo? Could you use rice? It has to be tiny in order not to have to precook it!
