Monday! Monday!

It is 10:01 and Lucy and Den have already been to the vet for fluids…Lucy…not Den…Lucy is usually very quiet when she sees her nurses but today apparently she felt a pinch and got a teeny bit noisy. To make up for that Lucy is going to bring in either a cake or kitty cupcakes for her Friday appointment. She will decide soon. Friday is her birthday! She will either be 21 or 22…Neither Den or I can remember because Lucy has always shaved a few years off of her real age! The little minx!

Books!

I finished Mary Alice Monroe’s book! It was lovely. Plus I feel as though I could walk up to a stallion and bend him to my ways…almost…not that I would do that but I definitely learned a lot about dressage and horses!

I am presently reading this…no opinion yet!

New books from NetGalley. By the way…Net Galley gave me a Nut Stash freakout as their April Fool’s joke!

New books from Edelweiss…

WordPress was again out of control for me this morning. I could not do side by side photos. I could not post in my normal way. Is anyone else having a problem with WP?

I can’t align my print the way I want to, either! What is happening WP?

Have a great day!

Patty

I haven’t posted anything this morning. I have been losing my Internet connection off and on in the last couple of days, but I can’t blame that one on WP. LOL

Those books look tempting. Adding The Summer Guests and A Family of Strangers, to start.

Lucy acts like a “real person,” doesn’t she?

you know when i was young i enjoyed reading about horses and how to clean hooves and mount and stirrups and so on…. until i was brought to one and was given the option to mount and whoa! that hoarse was so big that i decided they sounded so much nicer in fiction.

Those kitty cupcakes are the cutest things ever!! I think Lucy should choose to bring those to her friends at the vet’s. The Mary Alice Monroe books sounds wonderful… I used to love horse books, too.

Ha I noticed the Nut stash and thought they were redoing things! Of course its April 2 here so wasn’t on lookout for jokes! Oh those cupcakes looks so cute. Poor Lucy, good on her for making a little noise. Okay so now the Mary Alice Monroe book goes on my must read list. Nice to see you picked up the Emilie Richards book, a fave author of mine. Love the cover of The Book Charmer.

I cannot believe how old Lucy is. That’s a really long time to live such a great life. Many more years to come, hopefully.

Today I am going out for lunch. Maybe some salmon at the Japanese place or maybe some soup at the Chinese place. I am limited to where I can walk to because if I take the car I won’t find parking when I return.
