Drip…Drip…Drip…

First of all…Den and I can’t stop sneezing, our heads hurt and the wind is really windy!  We have to have our dormers replaced soon and the wind is so fierce it is blowing paint chips off of the dormers!  Yikes!  It’s a blustery day.

Now to the drips!  All signs point to my body needing a fill up of magnesium today!  So…I have to go to Abramson and relax for two hours with a magnesium infusion.  Thus the Drip…Drip…Drip!  This will be the first time ever that Den will drop me off and pick me up.  If it was chemo he would never leave me but he has lunch scheduled with some work friends and I don’t want him to miss it.  He spends so much time with me.  I will sit and read while I am getting my tune up!  The first question from everyone when I check in will be…where is Den?

Lovely books!

I read this over the weekend…and I am almost done with the second one…The Silent Patient made it to #1 on the NYT bestseller list but I am not really loving it.

After The Silent Patient I am reading The Child Finder…it’s from 2017 but I want to read it before I read her new one.  I have granted myself a review vacation this weekend and it’s been awesome.  The three books I am reading are library ebooks and I don’t review library books!  It’s heavenly to read and not write about what I have read!

Just a few new books…thank you Publishers and NetGalley!

My sister Paula is always sending me knitted warm throws and wraps or fuzzy blankets…Roxie has claimed this one!  But first she asked nicely if she could share it!

Have an awesome day!

Patty

I’m sorry you’re not loving The Silent Patient, as it is on my Kindle…waiting. Maybe I will enjoy it, though. Sometimes that happens.

Hope your infusion goes well and you get to lose yourself in your books.

I am going to try freezing some soup!

We are being blown around by the wind today too. I’m at the oral surgeon’s for a consultation about a wisdom tooth extraction. Whatever possessed me to schedule this for my morning off, and a Monday, no less? I have The Silent Patient on my TBR but am seeing lots of mixed reviews!

It’s very windy up in NY state, too… schools closed, trees down, power out. I’m sure you’ll feel like a new woman after the magnesium infusion. It works wonders for my sister. Didn’t know Jojo Moyes has a new book coming out… can’t wait to hear what you think!

Whatever it takes to make you feel like yourself. Drip, away.

I am wrapping up Crawdads. Anxious to pick my next book. My picker has been off. Not that I pick bad books but that I can’t seem to pick books quickly. I am over thinking it.

For lunch today, I just brought a TJ’s fish curry thing. I know. I made it sound so good, right? Nope but it is good. I made delicious lentil pasta last night and it was all packed for my lunch today but when i packed my lunch at 4:30 am it didn’t sound good. Somehow fish curry sounded better. I don’t know how.

Does sound windy. Hope the magnesium infusion helped and Den enjoyed (s) his lunch out with friends. What a lovely sister you have and Roxie agrees. Totally love reading that I don’t review and I am doing that more and intend increasing it that way. While its nice having review books it is also a bit of a pressure.
